The Targeting Of Bin Laden: The Most Important Accomplishment Of Barack Obama And Will Guarantee A Second Term In The White House!

Here we are 14 months away from Election Day 2012, and many observers project that Barack Obama is in deep trouble, and will lose reelection.

Certainly, with the horrible economy and the highest number of unemployed citizens in history, and the lack of any cooperation by the Republican opposition, Barack Obama has many problems and issues that could affect how people vote in 2012.

Despite these realities, the President remains personally popular, which is a major positive in his favor.

And after having watched the HISTORY CHANNEL two hour special tonight, entitled TARGETING BIN LADEN, revealing all of the details of the mission to kill Osama Bin Laden, it became clear to the author that this accomplishment will always be remembered as the most significant single action of Barack Obama, just as the Cuban Missile Crisis will be always seen as the major accomplishment of John F. Kennedy in office!

The courage, the decisiveness, the handling of the Bin Laden matter will be enough to give Barack Obama a second term as President!

Imagine if this action had failed! Barack Obama would be seen as Jimmy Carter after the failed mission to release the hostages in Iran in April 1980, the major reason for Carter’s loss to Ronald Reagan in the Election of 1980.

For the same reason, Obama will be able to use this great deed to insure that he will be reelected in 2012!

Two Key Dates Ahead: Exactly 12 Months And 14 Months From Today! Barack Obama And America’s Future!

Exactly one year from today, September 6, Barack Obama will be nominated for a second term as President, at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Two months later, on November 6, Barack Obama will be reelected President of the United States for a second term, after a long battle against hate, ignorance, and a concerted campaign of lies and deception about his record, and a refusal of the opposition party to cooperate on ANY problem or issue that arose in the four year term!

This will be a very concentrated and tense 14 months, one of the most significant elections in American history, as it will determine the future of the middle class and the poor, and there is no room for anything but total victory!

Replace The Entire Congress: Would That Be A Practical And Intelligent Move? NO!

The latest polls indicate total disgust with Congress, with 82 percent, the highest ever, seeing Congress in a negative fashion.

But even more astounding, 54 percent would like to replace the entire Congress if that was possible–throw out every last member of both houses of Congress, and start all over with new membership!

This is an astounding idea, totally based on emotion and anger, which is understandable with the deadlock between the political parties on Capitol Hill.

But in reality, it is the FAULT of the voters who set this up by creating a split Congress, which meant divided power, which guarantees gridlock and stalemate!

By voting in the Tea Party Republicans, the voters demonstrated that they had no clue as to how government works best!

What they have done is put anarchists in office who hate government, want to destroy its ability to be effective, and themselves are totally ignorant about the responsibilities and role of government in the lives of the American people!

This is not a small town, rural, 19th century America without prominence in world affairs, and no matter how much these Tea Party people and their voters want a return to nostalgia and the “easier” life of the 19th century, it cannot come back, and the Tea Party is a total disaster for the nation and its future!

To throw all the “rascals” out would make things worse, leading to total chaos and anarchy, as lack of experience and knowledge about government would condemn us to mediocrity and inferiority in the world!

What must be done is get rid of the Tea Party radicals and restore Congress to a status of cooperation with the President to deal with the crises we face in a sensible, sane fashion.! The last eight months of Tea Party influence should be enough to convince those who voted that direction the wrongs of their ways!

So the answer is to throw out those who are obstructionists, and support a Congress which is willing to work together for the advancement of America in the 21st century!

The Lack Of Reliability of September Third Year Presidential Polls: Wesley Clark And Rudy Guiliani!

The tendency to believe presidential election polls in the fall of the third year of a Presidential term comes back, as we enter September, with Rick Perry having a growing lead over Mitt Romney for the Republican Presidential nomination.

In 2004, former Army General Wesley Clark was leading polls for the Democratic nomination, and former Vermont Governor Howard Dean was seen as the favorite by the end of the year, but Senator John Kerry won the nomination.

In 2008, former NYC Mayor Rudy Guiliani led in September for the Republican nomination, with Senator Fred Thompson of Tennessee in second place, but Senator John McCain was the nominee.

So it is not yet smart to assume that Perry or Romney have the Republican nomination for 2012 guaranteed!

With both John Kerry and John McCain being “dark horses” at this point in 2004 and 2008, keep your attention on former Utah Governor and Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman as the “dark horse” of the race, with excellent credentials and centrist tendencies, but extremely low poll ratings.

If Huntsman emerges, it will be a John, but with a different spelling as Jon, who will have been the surprise of the Presidential campaign for the third straight election!

But also realize that both John Kerry and John McCain lost their races to George W. Bush and Barack Obama, and the odds of Huntsman to become President, while better on paper than any other Republican candidate, have to be seen as a long shot!

The Urgent Needs For The Jobs Speech Of President Obama

President Obama will be delivering a Jobs speech to a joint session of Congress this Thursday, with skepticism and even disrespect already evident, with Congressmen Joe Wilson of South Carolina and Joe Walsh of Illinois already stating they would not be present.

The Republicans are unwilling to do anything to create jobs, and seem ready to refuse the Obama plan to continue the payroll tax holiday, which cut the Social Security tax on employers and employees, giving taxpayers approximately a thousand dollars extra to spend, helping middle and lower income taxpayers, and helping to stimulate the economy. After all they did under George W. Bush to increase the deficit, now the Republicans put the deficit ahead of helping the average American, while not considering any tax increases to be borne by those who have received the bulk of the tax cuts in the past decade, the extremely wealthy! It is this reckless fiscal policy under George W. Bush which has led to this economic crisis we now face!

Unemployment compensation, which has been extended up to 99 weeks in some states, needs to be extended since we have more people with long term unemployment than ever before since World War II. Money coming from unemployment compensation is immediately spent, which would help the economy in a major way.

Infrastructure spending is urgent, not only in creation of jobs, but also the dire need to rebuild and extend our roads, bridges, rail and mass transit, which are in poor shape across the country.

Refinancing of mortgages is urgent to give struggling homeowners the opportunity to keep their homes, as the more homes in foreclosure, the worse the whole housing situation will be for the long run.

Unfortunately, the likelihood is that close to nothing that Obama will promote will make it through Congress, setting up the political debate for the 2012 Presidential Election. The sad part is the great human suffering which will ensue, and the danger that it could lead to violence and turmoil in America!
