Conservatives And Republicans Want People To Have Inferior Health Care—AMAZING!

Conservatives and Republicans have viciously opposed ObamaCare, not giving a damn about whether tens of millions of Americans have health care coverage, even though that makes health care more expensive for taxpayers when these people go to emergency rooms, or else these people die, which they seem not to care about!

But, having failed to prevent ObamaCare, and complaining about its difficult roll out, as if they wanted it to succeed, now they are complaining that millions of people with independent coverage, who have crappy health care contracts, are being forced to get new coverage that covers more areas, has lower costs, better conditions, and will prevent people from losing coverage, or be told that preexisting conditions are not covered!

Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee and Fox News Channel right wing talk show host Sean Hannity lead a whole group of charlatans, who are working to mislead consumers, and make ObamaCare an issue that they can exploit for political gain, while working to convince people that they are being exploited, rather than the truth that they are being given a chance for FAR BETTER health care coverage!

These right wingers do not know how to tell the truth, because if they do, they know the conservative movement will recede into the dustbin of history, as not caring about the health care needs of the American people!

Remember that the basis of ObamaCare is both the basis of the Heritage Foundation plan for health care of 1993 and of RomneyCare in 2006 in Massachusetts, but neither source will dare admit the truth, and expect Mitt Romney to say the same this Sunday on Meet the Press, the reason why he had no chance to win the Presidency in 2012! Romney could not tell the truth if he tried, and stands out as the biggest liar of any Presidential candidate in modern history!

From Yahoo news: Health Care Shoppers Aren’t as Dumb as Obama Thinks. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/healthcare-shoppers-aren%E2%80%99t-as-dumb-as-obama-thinks-195824524.html . That’s the problem with liberals, they have the unconstrained vision of reality. They believe that they know best, that they can know better than hundred of millions of individuals who every single day make decisions that are in their own interest. Liberals believe that they can somehow know better and more than the millions of decision made daily by millions of Americans on practically every issue. From healthcare to the food people eat.But somehow liberals believe that they, the anointed one, know what is better for your own interest. As Obamacare unravels before our eyes, this unconstrained vision that is the essence of how liberals view the world, becomes crystal clear. All one has to do is listen to them, how they lecture us and inform us that we are stupid! That Americans do not know any better. Just like when they say some Americans vote against their own interest, that is they are dumb because they don’t vote for liberalism, today they say millions of Americans are so stupid that they buy junk coverage. It is they, the elites, the “superior know it all”, that know what’s best for you. And all this way of thinking has been on hiper display these last couple of weeks. Because you see, deep inside they know Obama lied, but they rationalize it and justify it by thinking he had to lie because Americans are so dumb that they would reject this wonderful law that is for their own good, had they known millions would lose the coverage they happen to like. One can just see that way of thinking pouring out of every syllable they write to defend, justify and rationalize Obama’s lies. Plainly put, people are just stupid and helpless without us liberals and without Obama.

The ‘mandates’ laid out by the Heritage Foundation were of an entirely different nature, as they focused on two areas: 1) Employer Mandate, requiring all large companies to provide healthcare coverage and 2) A Catastrophic Insurance Mandate, intended to protect the public from absorbing the costs for uncovered emergency care.
Routine health care was always regarded as an individual obligation.
At the time the Heritage foundation was responding to two different events: recent legislation signed by President Reagan obligating emergency rooms to treat all patients, regardless of ability to pay, and growing discussions regarding a “National Health Care” system (later known as “Hillary Care”).
In its amicus brief to the Court in the Obamacare case, the Heritage Foundation stated:(and I did copy-paste this from the case)
“the Heritage position quoted by the Department of Justice (should) have a red flag indicating it had been reversed. . . . Heritage has stopped supporting any insurance mandate.”
Heritage policy experts never supported an unqualified mandate like that in the PPACA. Their prior support for a qualified mandate was limited to catastrophic coverage (true insurance that is precisely what the PPACA forbids), coupled with tax relief for all families and other reforms that are conspicuously absent from the PPACA. Moreover, Heritage’s legal scholars have been consistent in explaining that the type of mandate in the PPACA is unconstitutional.”
So the facts about the Heritage position are as follows:
    1) Did not propose a mandate for routine health care.
    2) Later withdrew all support of any type of a mandate.
    3) Recognized that any such mandate is unconstitutional.
    4) Argued to the Supreme Court (via briefs) that any such mandate was at odds with individual liberty.
But facts be damned when we are in the “Liberal Zone”, right? Now I know that I will be attacked and impugned because of what I just posted. That no rational argument will be put forth and that I will be accused of try to deceive people, of putting forth a lie. But that’s the way it is when one enters the “Liberal Zone”.

My my how these people lie, right? “The Griffins, who live near Philadelphia, pay $770 monthly for their soon-to-be-terminated health care plan with a $2,500 deductible. The cheapest plan they found on their state insurance exchange was a so-called bronze plan charging a $1,275 monthly premium with deductibles totaling $12,700. It covers only providers in Pennsylvania, so the couple, who live near Delaware, won’t be able to see doctors they’ve used for more than a decade.” They shouldn’t worry,Obama and liberals know better what is good for them. After all they are stupid Americans who up until now didn’t know how to make decisions on their own. Plus, they didn’t understand what Obama meant when he said “If you like you health coverage you can keep it, If you like your doctor you can keep it.” These dumb Americans cannot even understand Obama when he speaks. After all you need a superior intelligence, intelligence that only liberals posses, to understand Obama when he “double speaks” and how Obama is really helping you. How he knows what is best for you. Oh and did you notice? The Griffins are “white Americans”, why they might even be racist, not willing to pay more to help the poor! These hateful racist white Americans! More BS from Juan/Russian woman/Robert/Eugene.

  5. D November 2, 2013 8:56 pm

I’m on board with single payer.

    I supported public option.

I did not support the Affordable Care Act not having a mechanism to compete with private insurance and not allowing re-importation of drugs outside the United States. And I did not support the mandate. And this was part of the reason the Democratic party was slaughtered in the midterms of 2010 with the majority-control loss of the House and a reduction of six-held seats in the Senate.

As for the Republicans’ position: This is on par with Social Security. Delivering a national health-care insurance system is what they don’t want marking U.S. history from an opposition-party president. Richard Nixon could have delivered, but there was objections on what was proposed; and I think Ted Kennedy was in opposition.

Outside of politics, the medical industry—like doctors and hospitals and, most especially, the health-insurance industry—want to go on profiting from their lucrative businesses in spite of the cruel, unfortunate economic toll this takes on many people who dare get older and sicker. So, this is a maddening set of circumstances where it was never possible to please nearly all.

  6. Ronald November 3, 2013 12:55 am

I agree with you, D, Rustbelt Democrat, and the other ladies, that hopefully, single payer will eventually come about. But meanwhile, the Affordable Care Act needs to start working as a first step in that direction. And, D, no debate about the medical industry and what you have stated here!

  7. Eugene November 3, 2013 10:12 am

And on cue, liberals now start pushing for single payer. I just want to know why we conservatives are impugned when we claimed that Obamacare was just a means to an end? That the real goal of liberal /socialist is single payer socialized medicine. Why don’t you liberals just be honest and say Obamacare is just a first step. First we destroy the private sector in healthcare coverage (while of course putting all the blame on the private sector) then when people complain we demand socialized single payer. But know , liberals/socialist cannot be honest about their true intentions. Because otherwise Americans would never vote for them.

  8. Eugene November 3, 2013 10:30 am

And on cue, now all liberals/socialist start claiming for a single payer system. Because you know, Obamacare is just not enough and these insurance companies are so greedy. We conservatives knew this would happen, liberals are so predictable. Yet they can never be honest about their true intention. They must, I repeat they must, employ lies and be decietful. Otherwise why not come clean and tell the American people that Obamacare is just a first step towards single payer? Why make them believe that if they liked their coverage and doctor they could keep them when the administration new very well that was a lie. Today those in the individual market are finding out the truth, next year it will be all of those who were spared due to the postponment of the employer market. By then over 90 million of us will lose the coverage we liked. But hey, Obama knows best right? They can dictate to you what you will and will not eat and where you will not go and how you will not get there, and hold that threat of not giving you health care over your head all the time. That’s what liberal/socialist are. That’s who Barack Obama is, lying in most extreme way, to get this silly disaster of a law signed into law. Telling you the biggest lie he could concoct. But just think if this, if keeping your plan was so important , and it was to people, right? If keeping your doctor was so important, why did we have to go change all of this anyway? If people like their plans and like their doctors, then why did we have to totally turn everything upside down? Couldn’t we conclude that it may not have been broken? If the number one selling point to reform was you get to keep what you’ve got, that translates to people being satisfied with what they’ve got, to me. I repeat , if the number one selling point was that you get to keep your insurance coverage and doctor, then it means the system wasn’t broken!
So what did Obama do? He had to lie to people, because most people were satisfied with what they had. So he had to tell them that they could keep it and that it was going to get cheaper, because they didn’t want massive reform. But he didn’t care. He was going to get it anyway. So you had something that you liked, your doctor, your plan, and he had to tell you he was going to make it cheaper. And it turns out now you can’t even keep it. You can’t keep your plan, you can’t keep your doctor, the plan doesn’t exist anymore, your doctor may opt out, and if you are able to stay in the system, it’s going to cost you three times what you were paying. All of that is a reality borne of lies told by the president of the United States. And as if one cue, liberal/socialists demand single payer socialized medicine. Something they could never get in America if they were honest about thier intentions in the first place. And we conservatives knew, called them out on it and that is why , among other things like standing for individual freedoms and rights, property right and limited constitutional government, liberal/socialist despise us.Because they stand for the exact opposite. They just can’t admit it publicly or when running for office.

  9. Rustbelt Democrat November 3, 2013 11:35 am

    @Juan/Russian woman/Robert/Eugene

Liberals want single payer because we want better healthcare (universal healthcare, like Canada, France, Britain and other industrialized nations have) for our kids, grandkids, and so on. The system we have now, is greedy and sucks. If you want America to join the rest of the civilized world, then single payer is the route to go.

  10. Jane Doe November 3, 2013 11:41 am

Well said Rustbelt. Universal health care being bad is a right wing lie. It’s cruel and barbaric to deny health care and medicine to people. Health care is a human right!

  11. Princess Leia November 3, 2013 12:48 pm

    @ D
The 2010 results is why I say to my liberal and progressive family and friends to hold your nose and vote.

    @Rustbelt
    Excellent comment.

  12. Matt November 5, 2013 10:26 am

Rustbelt: If liberals believe that single payer is better, then why didn’t they just come clean and proposed that to the American people back in 2010? Why was the selling point, as Eugene points out, that if you like your coverage and doctor you could keep it? Why did they lie? Why not just say that the goal is government run single payer, if it is so marvelous according to you?

  13. Rustbelt Democrat November 5, 2013 3:36 pm

Thanks for that article Princess Leia. As that article states, those who “like” the plans being canceled are either unaware that they had sub-standard policies or are simply willful liars attacking the president.

  14. Ronald November 5, 2013 5:13 pm

Princess Leia, and Rustbelt, you are both correct in everything you are saying, including the new name! LOL

  15. Ronald November 6, 2013 9:40 am

I do not think Matt or anyone of his view is going to concede the truth, Rustbelt Democrat!
