Five days after the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani by orders of Donald Trump, Iran has reacted by attacking two US bases in Iraq.
This could lead to total war in the Middle East, including Israel and Saudi Arabia leagued against Iran, but with Trump not getting unified support from usual allies, such as in NATO.
Trump could be responsible for World War 3, as likely, China and Russia and Turkey would be leagued against us and with Iran.
This evil man is disrupting the entire world, as he has in the United States, and he cannot leave office soon enough, but already, the damage he has done will reverberate for many years, likely for decades!

Obama really lives in Donnie’s head rent free. Everything Donnie does is a repudiation of what Obama did. Everything he says is a criticism of Obama. Obama poked fun at Donnie at a White House Correspondents’ dinner years ago, and Donnie has been obsessed with him ever since. It’s plausible that Donnie decide to kill Soleimani simply because Obama (and W as well) had decided against it. Donnie is a very, very small man and emotionally crippled by malignant narcissism, which leads him to do and say ridiculous things. The Obama gave Iran 180 billion dollars is obviously an outright lie. And why would anyone want to renegotiate a deal with Donnie when he has proved he will not honor any commitments, including his own? Donnie’s ignorance, incompetence and narcissism are enough to make an atheist pray that we can get him out of office.

For the primary, I’m leaning towards voting for Elizabeth Warren. If some conflict arose during her presidency, unlike Trump, I feel confident that she will seek diplomacy first and not reject our NATO allies.
Speaking of light, did y’all see his entrace? The double doors were opened and there was a blinding light through which Trump emerged. The room he spoke from was not one of the usual ones we see. I wouldn’t put it past the White House to have chosen this spot on purpose so he could make a “dramatic†entrance. But it looked ridiculous.

If Trump hadn’t gotten us into this mess, that plane would not have been hit. Trump’s reckless actions caused the murder of 176 people. He needs to be thrown in jail just for that.

Trump’s so-called speech demonstrated that he is not physically well. He slurred and had trouble pronouncing words and sniffed constantly. Anyone who has watched Trump speak over the last couple of years has noticed these things.
In case anyone is tempted to suggest that this is simply the way Trump talks, it is helpful to go back to interviews he’s done in the past and notice that, while his positions might be similar, his speech patterns have seriously digressed.
While it would be inappropriate to speculate about a diagnosis for these symptoms, it is equally problematic to simply ignore them. There is something physically wrong with this president and, especially given the circumstances of an escalation of tensions with a foreign adversary, the American public has a right to know about the physical health of the commander-in-chief.

The War Powers resolution passed in the House. The vote was 224-194. Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz of Florida, Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Francis Rooney of Florida crossed party lines to vote in favor while Democratic Reps. Max Rose of New York, Ben McAdams of Utah, Anthony Brindisi of New York, Joe Cunningham of South Carolina, Elaine Luria of Virginia, Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey, Kendra Horn of Oklahoma and Stephanie Murphy of Florida voted against the resolution. Now that the resolution has passed the House it will next go to the Senate.

Trump keeps making up new excuses for assassinating the Iranian general. Today the fool now claims: “We did it because they were looking to blow up our embassy.†This claim, that Soleimani was involved in a scheme to blow up the U.S. embassy—presumably the embassy in Baghdad, which had been the focus of protests just days before—is wholly new. No other briefing, interview, or document has provided any information about this scheme. And certainly no intelligence or evidence have been provided to date supporting Trump’s out-of-nowhere claim.
