Donald Trump, the authoritarian Fascist, on the 89th anniversary of Adolf Hitler taking power, threatened the nation with further violence and sedition, if he runs for President in 2024, and fails to win the election.
This led to criticism by some Republicans, including Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Senator Susan Collins of Maine, and New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu on the Sunday news programs.
But will the mass of Republicans in the House and Senate and governorships and other positions join them, and insure that the Electoral Count Act of 1887 will be updated to prevent any possibility of another constitutional crisis as we had on January 6, 2021?
The concept that Trump promotes that he would give pardons to the January 6 insurrectionists is a true travesty of justice and of the sacrifices of the Capitol Police on that day!
The horrific scenes of violence and destruction perpetrated on that day by traitors to the Constitution, who refused to endorse the Electoral College results, and incited the crazies to come out and engage in armed insurrection, must be prevented against by all means necessary!
