Michigan is one of the most crucial states in the upcoming Presidential Election of 2024, and with its large Arab and Muslim population, centered in the Detroit area and particularly in the nearby suburb of Dearborn, President Joe Biden faces a massive revolt,
Biden’s support of Israel in the war against Hamas in Gaza has led to massive loss of life, with some Michigan families losing dozens of relatives.
So there is a movement in Michigan to help defeat Biden, although there is no sane reason for Arabs and Muslims to support his likely opponent, former President Donald Trump, who has been hardline in his policies and views on both groups.
So despite understandable anger, Arabs and Muslims are only spiting themselves, but in the process could end up deciding that Donald Trump wins Michigan and its 15 electoral votes, the third most such votes among states seen as in play in the upcoming election, only behind Pennsylvania with 19 electoral votes and Georgia with 16 electoral votes.
With that drone attack this weekend, it looks like Iran has pulled the United States into the war it is waging across the Middle East.
I highly doubt they’ll vote for Trump. More likely they’ll vote for a third party, like the Green Party or something.
I also doubt they’ll vote for Trump. If they don’t for a third party, then they’ll probably not vote at all. I hope, for the sake of the country, that they do vote for Biden, even if they do so reluctantly.
Well, there’s a lot of time between now and the election, so maybe things will change.
On Thursday, the State Department announced the first round of sanctions targeting Israeli settlers accused of perpetrating violence in the West Bank. The sanctions block their financial assets and bar them from entering the US.
Here is some information about the Israeli settlements. These settlements are a major obstacle to peace, making a contiguous, whole Palestinian state in the West Bank impossible.

Netanyahu rejected deal to free the hostages. Families of the hostages are angered about this, saying that Netanyahu is prioritizing revenge over freeing the hostages. I’m feeling very much in agreement with them.
