Republican Governors Acting As Fascist Dictators: Ron DeSantis Of Florida, Greg Abbott Of Texas

America is faced with a group of Republican Governors, most notably Ron DeSantis of Florida and Greg Abbott of Texas, but also others, who are conducting themselves as Fascist dictators, showing total recklessness in the midst of the COVID 19 Pandemic!

These two monstrous, arrogant leaders are both aiming for the possibility of being the Republican Presidential nominee in 2024, and going out of their way to play up to Donald Trump, with the hope that he will not run, or be able to run for President, and will endorse one or the other as the next candidate of a party now seen as a cult, not the traditional conservative party of the past.

The danger is that the COVID 19 Pandemic will lead to the hospitalization and death of many more Floridians and Texans, with the refusal of both governors, and others, to respect the Centers for Disease Control, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and federal guidelines of the Biden Administration, on vaccination and masking.

The Insanity Of The South And Western Rural States Defying Common Sense And Science On Vaccines!

It is mind boggling that the rural states of the South and West are defying common sense and science on the subject of vaccines and the COVID 19 Pandemic!

These states are Republican states and very ‘Religious” states, at least in theory, but their population wallows in ignorance and hatred of science, education, facts, and truth!

The 13 lowest states in vaccinations are from Number 51 (including DC) down to 39 the following:

Alabama
Mississippi
Arkansas
Wyoming
Louisiana
Idaho
Georgia
Tennessee
West Virginia
Oklahoma
North Dakota
South Carolina
Missouri

Only 33 to 40 percent of the population in these states are fully vaccinated, as the Delta Variant is spreading like wildfire, endangering not only those states, but people all over the nation.

Only 20 states and DC have 50 percent or more of its population fully vaccinated, and they coincide with Democratic or “Blue” states, making this pandemic political, as if the rural South and West are striking out against modernity, urbanization, science, facts, and truth!

This “head in the sands” mentality is undermining the long term future and health of America!

Joe Biden And The True Meaning Of Patriotism: Get Vaccinated!

President Joe Biden gave a memorable Independence Day speech from the White House last evening.

It was truly inspiring, and showed that Joe Biden knows how to deliver a message of unity and patriotism in a manner which he will be remembered in the long run of history.

Joe Biden is a man of great compassion, empathy, decency, sincerity, and dignity, and exudes optimism about the American future, that democracy will survive, and that the threat of white supremacy and hatred will be overcome.

One gets the feeling that Joe Biden will go down history in the same way of uniting the nation at a difficult time that George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Franklin D. Roosevelt at other times of threat to the American nation.

And Joe Biden gave us a closing message:

If one is truly patriotic, one would get the COVID 19 vaccinations to protect themselves, their family members, their friends, their neighbors, and even strangers, as vaccination is the way to preserve, protect and defend America and the world!

There is no justification, none, for being selfish, self centered, egotistical, and uncaring about others, and all such people need to be ostracized as disgraces to the human race!

Five Months Of President Joe Biden: A World Of Difference!

President Joe Biden has now been in the Oval Office for five months, and what a world of difference!

The right wing media and the Republican Party, of course, are constantly on the attack on every issue imaginable.

But Joe Biden has been successful in so many ways:

The COVID 19 Pandemic response, a great success with 300 million vaccinations after five months (150 days)
The Economic Revival through the American Rescue Plan legislation, greater success than thought possible in five months
Moving toward action on Infrastructure, Voting Rights, Gun Regulations, Health Care And Education Reform
Reversing many actions of Donald Trump on the Environment by Executive Order
Reversing actions of Trump on Immigration, Climate Change, Civil Rights, and so many other domestic issues
Choosing Federal Judges to balance out the right wing tilt of the Trump Judicial appointments
Restoring good relations with NATO, the European Union, and the G-7 Nations
Succeeding in making Vladimir Putin know he has met his match, with Putin saying Biden was professional, constructive, and experienced
Making clear to the world community that America has returned to world leadership and a sense of ethics and morals
Restoring Dignity, Compassion, Empathy, Decency, Humanity to the Oval Office

Is The COVID 19 Pandemic Effectively Over, Or Is Caution Still Needed?

The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, and President Joe Biden made the surprise announcement on Thursday, that all Americans who had been vaccinated against the COVID 19 Pandemic, no longer needed to wear masks and social distance in public and in private.

It stunned many, as many Americans are not yet vaccinated, and many do not plan to be vaccinated, so while an emotional moment, one wondered whether the announcement was a wise move.

Many businesses and companies are choosing to continue a mask mandate, and it is still required in circumstances of public transportation, including planes, buses, and trains.

But the concern is that the pandemic may come roaring back, so it is unclear whether the sudden statement may be reckless, but in any case, anyone can still use masks, but it does seem as no longer can it be required or mandated.

It will certainly be great for Americans to get back to normal social interactions, as it has nearly 15 months of this health crisis!

Joe Biden Popularity With The American People Much Higher Than Donald Trump Ever Was!

As Joe Biden reaches his First Hundred Days in office a week from now, his public opinion ratings are outstanding!

Ronald Reagan had 67 percent approval, and Barack Obama had 61 percent approval, but all other recent Presidents are lower than Joe Biden is right now.

Biden has 59 percent support, while George H. W. Bush had 58 percent, George W. Bush 55 percent, and Bill Clinton had 49 percent.

Donald Trump had 39 percent, and one must remember that Trump NEVER had a majority in any public opinion poll at any point!

And 72 percent of Democrats and 55 percent of Republicans support Joe Biden’s handling of the COVID 19 Pandemic.

And two thirds of the nation supports Biden’s $1.9 trillion dollar stimulus bill, including a majority of Republicans, even though Republican office holders are against everything Biden is doing.

200 Million Doses Of COVID 19 Vaccinations Administered In 86 Days, Double The Goal Of Joe Biden!

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced on Friday that 200 million doses of the COVID 10 Vaccinations have been administered after 86 days of the Joe Biden Presidency.

This is double the total pledged by Biden, who made it his commitment to have 100 million doses in the first Hundred Days of his Presidency.

No wonder that Biden has high public opinion ratings, with the high 50s to low 60s, as Biden took the COVID 19 Pandemic seriously, unlike Donald Trump, who made the crisis worse by his antics.

The nation should be close to 250 million doses by the end of April, when assessments of the First Hundred Days of the Biden Presidency will be made by all news media.

Republicans In Congress Defying Their Own Voters In Refusal To Work With President Joe Biden!

The Republicans in Congress are committing political suicide by refusing en masse to support President Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill, as well as the earlier COVID 19 legislation, and apparently, every other initiative, just as they did with Barack Obama during his Presidency.

The difference is that polls show a vast majority of Americans, including many Republican voters, actually like what Joe Biden is doing, and that they understand the need for bipartisanship in a time of the worst health crisis in a century, and the worst economic crisis in 90 years.

The rate of vaccinations is being accomplished much faster than Joe Biden had projected, nearing 200 million shots, twice what he forecast for the first 100 days of his Presidency.

And the economy is reviving, with nearly one million new jobs in March.

All this and more insures Joe Biden and the Democrats will have public backing for gun regulations, rise in the minimum wage, and so much more, and the Republicans will be left in the dust of history, due to their intransigence!
