Trump Presidency Rapidly Becoming More Corrupt Administration Than Nixon, Grant, Harding!

After only eight months in office, the Trump Presidency is rapidly becoming more corrupt than the Presidencies of Richard Nixon, Ulysses S. Grant, and Warren G. Harding.

Sic cabinet members, at the least, have engaged in corrupt acts–Tom Price, Health and Human Services Secretary, who has resigned, but also Steve Mnuchin, Secretary of the Treasury; Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke; Environmental Protection Agency head Scott Pruitt; Secretary of Veterans Affairs David Shulkin; and Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao, who is the wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

A dozen Trump appointees have been fired or resigned, among them the most prominent being Michael Flynn, Stephen Bannon, Sean Spicer, Reince Priebus, Sebastian Gorka, Anthony Scaramucci, and James Comey. And Trump has hinted at firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Special Counsel Robert Mueller over the investigation being conducted by Mueller over Russian collusion in the Presidential Election of 2016. Many others are on tenterhooks as to their survival in the Trump Administration, and some are expected to resign, due to the temper tantrums and tensions that exist in the White House under Donald Trump.

Many of the above list are on the way to indictment or at least engagement in corruption, and more of the cabinet members will be forced out, including others not yet publicly demonstrated to have engaged in corruption in office. Everyone is lawyering up, which is a sign of future trials and convictions coming.

Donald Trump’s New York Times interview demonstrated to us signs of mental illness and possible dementia of our President.

It was truly bizarre behavior, including rambling, inconsistency, forgetfulness, and raging behavior against his Attorney General Jeff Sessions; Special Counsel Robert Mueller; Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein; and his expectation that the new FBI head Christopher Wray would be “loyal”, the reason why he fired former FBI head James Comey.

And now we learn that Trump is looking into pardons of his aides, his family, and even himself, not realizing that a pardon is an admission of guilt, and even Richard Nixon would not go that far, and refused to try to pardon himself, or his aides, as inappropriate behavior for a President.

Donald Trump is in a panic that Robert Mueller is investigating his financial dealings with Russia, and looking at his tax returns, which he has refused to allow, but can be accessed during an investigation of malfeasance.

The White House staff is stunned at his attacks on Sessions in particular, as no one was more loyal to Trump, but yet Sessions and Rosenstein have agreed to stay on, in itself a shocking and stunning decision, as Trump has no loyalty to anyone, and is only too willing to rant and rave, and throw them “under the bus”.

The world of Donald Trump is one of self aggrandizement, selfishness, greed, materialism, lack of concern for others, and projection, blaming others for his own faults.

The man is seriously mentally ill, and every day he stays in the Oval Office, the nation is endangered, and we have to face the facts that eventually a major foreign policy crisis will arise, and we will have a crippled President to deal with it, so this is an alarm bell that something must be done to resolve this constitutional crisis, and soon, before the country suffers a grievous disaster that affects all of us!

Trump Tweet On Comey Meeting Taping: Now Trump Admits He Lied, But Tweet Led to Robert Mueller As Special Counsel To Investigate Obstruction Of Justice And Russian Ties

Donald Trump lied about having a taping system recording his meeting with James Comey, before he fired the former FBI head.

It took 41 days for Trump to admit yet another lie, but this time, it led to Robert Mueller being appointed Special Counsel to investigate charges of Obstruction Of Justice, and Russian Ties.

So, effectively, Donald Trump put himself into a legal quandary that likely will force him out office at some point in the next year.

And if he tries to fire Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General who appointed Robert Mueller, or decides to fire Mueller directly, Donald Trump is a prime candidate for impeachment investigation!

So it could be that Trump has been “hoist by his own petard”, unwittingly undermining himself and effectively shooting himself in the foot, as the saying goes!

The Growing Evidence Of Mental Deterioration, Instability, And Pure Madness Of Donald Trump!

Many supporters of Donald Trump are living in denial, in a state of refusing to accept reality.

The man has been mentally deteriorating with the pressures of the Presidency over the past five months, and now there are reports that he plans to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading an investigation of the Trump scandals on Russia, on the firing of FBI head James Comey, and on Trump’s breaking of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.

His instability and erratic behavior is alarming, as he could start a nuclear war in a fit of anger.

He is capable of declaring martial law, if and when a September 11 type attack occurs, or even one far less significant and damaging than that event was.

He is even capable of staging such an attack, copying the strategy of Adolf Hitler, who staged the Reichstag Fire within months after his accession to power in 1933, using it as a pretext to destroy the German Constitution and traditions, and establish his dictatorship.

In many ways, Trump shows signs of madness, and many psychiatrists and psychologists have warned us of the dangers he presents to America and the world.

Many critics would say how can any medical doctor or psychiatrist come to such conclusions without “examining the patient”?

They forget that his staff and others he interacts with see him every day, and have expressed alarm anonymously, at the state of chaos and anxiety in the Oval Office, as Trump thinks things are running smoothly and everything is being accomplished splendidly, and as he rants and raves on Twitter at all hours of the night.

There is enough evidence of how dangerous Donald Trump is, and it is not as if he is just your “crazy uncle” or the next door neighbor.

He is the President of the United States, with the ability to start a world war and destroy our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and it is high time that political leaders of the majority Republican Party come to grips with reality, and do what they should be doing—moving to force Donald Trump out of office as necessary for the nation’s welfare.

In other words, put nation ahead of loyalty to a man, as the American Presidency and American government are more than any person’s advancement or glorification.

We do not wish to see the destruction of the international order, or the dissolution of all of the wonderful programs domestically put into law under administrations of both Democratic and Republican Presidents!

James Comey’s Testimony Before Senate Intelligence Committee, Plus Jared Kushner Controversy, Further Steps Toward End Of Trump Presidency!

Former FBI Head James Comey, by giving testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on his dealings with Donald Trump, is raising the ante on Trump’s being eventually forced out of office. It was stunning to hear Comey state that Donald Trump is a liar, who he knew was from the beginning, and that, therefore, Comey needed to keep notes of his meetings and conversations with the President. No matter what the criticism of Comey in his handling of the Presidential Election of 2016, which many think undermined Hillary Clinton’s candidacy dramatically, it is clear that Comey is much admired by fellow workers in the FBI, and that he has no record of lying, while Trump has been the most outstanding example of a liar ever to hold the office of the Presidency, even more than Richard Nixon,

The Jared Kushner controversy of dealing with the Russian Ambassador during the transition, before being appointed as an adviser to his father in-law is another issue that will make Trump’s life much more difficult.

With the process moving ahead in Congress and with the Special Counsel Robert Muller, former FBI head, and with Trump constantly making things worse with his own utterances, the clock is ticking on the duration of the Trump Presidency.

It still seems highly likely that Trump will not last in office as long as Zachary Taylor, who died after 492 days, on July 9, 1850, a date which will be reached in the Trump Presidency on May 27, 2018.

FBI Director James Comey Complicates Presidential Race, But Will NOT Change Electoral Result!

FBI Director James Comey has put a major “fly in the ointment” by stating publicly that further investigation of Hillary Clinton’s emails are in process, specifically those connected to her aide, Huma Abedin, and her estranged husband, former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner, who has become persona non grata due to his sexting with teenage girls.

This has led to outrage by Democrats, and concern that it could affect the results of the Presidential Election of 2016 next week.

But despite some conflicting public opinion polls, one must remember that millions have already voted, and that the 18 “Blue” states and DC are still just about guaranteed to support Clinton, and that only one or two more states are needed to gain 270 electoral votes and the victory.

Most of the “swing” states seem likely to be in Clinton’s camp, and Donald Trump’s many negatives still outweigh the negatives about Hillary Clinton.

So while it is important to make sure voters are encouraged to get out there and vote, this blogger feels comfortable that the Democrats are going to win the Presidency handily!
