Kamala Harris Being Judged Differently Due To Race And Gender

This entry is being revised from the original entry, which accidentally was deleted by the author, for which I apologize. I will be brief in summarizing my ideas on this entry with the same title, and anyone who had commented on the original entry, I would ask to submit a similar comment, and again, my apologies for the blunder, which has never happened before today, and will not happen again!

John F. Kennedy (Catholic); Barack Obama (African American); and Hillary Clinton (female), all faced discrimination and bias due to their uniqueness as Presidential candidates in 1960, 2008, and 2016, respectively.

In the first two cases, the issue of Catholicism and of race were overcome, while Clinton, although winning the popular vote by 2.85 million, was unable to win the Electoral College.

Now, Kamala Harris who is the second woman to seek the Presidency and has Asian Indian and African-Jamaican heritage, is facing critics who are claiming she is unqualified on intelligence and on abilities and knowledge, to occupy the Oval Office.

Harris has had more government experience than most Presidents, more than all Presidents since 1900, except for Lyndon B. Johnson, Gerald Ford, and Joe Biden.

Harris is also much more intelligent than some Presidents, including Warren G. Harding, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump since 1900; and also more qualified to be President than some Vice Presidents who succeeded to the Oval Office, including Andrew Johnson and Calvin Coolidge.

So the negativism around Harris in some circles should be seen as not worthy of being considered, and hopefully, she will break the barrier as the first woman President in American history!

Why Kamala Harris Is Likely On The Road To Victory

Although the polls are very close in the Presidential Election race of 2024, all signs are good that Kamala Harris is likely on the road to occupying the Oval Office as the 47th President of the United States after the November 5 election date.

Harris is ahead in most polls in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Nevada, which if true, would give her a 287-251 Electoral College victory, also including the Second District in Nebraska.

There is no doubt that Harris will easily win the popular vote, and possibly by more than the 7 plus million vote victory of Joe Biden in 2020.

Additionally, Harris is ahead in the following categories:

Urban voters
Suburban voters
College Educated Voters
Women Voters
African American Voters
Latino Voters
Jewish Voters
Asian American Voters
Voters 18-29 Years of Age
Voters Over Age 50
Labor Union Voters
Gay And Lesbian Voters

Of course, being ahead does not mean that the percentages of each voter category are what they have been in the past, or that one would think they should be, so there is plenty of work ahead in the next 25 days to convince voters in all of the above categories to support Kamala Harris.

Donald Trump will have the edge with:

Non College Educated Voters
White Male Voters
Wealthy Voters
30-50 Years of Age Voters
Religious Voters

It is clear that there are still those Americans who have not made up their minds, so non stop campaigning is essential, as this election is crucial to the survival of American democracy, the rule of law, and maintaining the US Constitution!

Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson Both “Clear And Present Danger” To American Democracy

Not only is Donald Trump a threat to American democracy, the Constitution, and the rule of law, who now has been revealed to have had up to seven contacts with Vladimir Putin since he left the Presidency.

But also, billionaire Elon Musk and extremist right wing commentator Tucker Carlson have laughed at Elon Musk’s earlier statement that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have not been threatened as Donald Trump was by two assassination attempts, but further joked about the idea that it could happen to Harris!

This is freedom of speech gone amuck, and makes both Musk and Carlson “clear and present dangers”, who need to be warned that such statements are NOT freedom of speech, but threats to a Presidential candidate, and that prosecution by the Secret Service could be in the offing!

Public figures such as Musk and Carlson can have the potential to incite bloodshed and violence by their reckless oratory, and assassination is not something to laugh about!

They are not “normal” citizens, but rather public figures who can influence unstable people with the idea that it is legitimate to threaten Presidential candidates, so they need to be warned to stop such rhetoric immediately!

Trump’s Mental Instability And Deterioration Getting Worse Every Day!

Not enough attention has been paid to the rapid mental deterioration of Donald Trump that he demonstrates daily at his campaign rallies and in his statements on Truth Social.

When one compares his ranting and raving, and his massive exaggerations in all he says and publishes, it is clear he is not mentally stable to lead our nation and have control of the nuclear codes.

Many complained that Joe Biden was clearly in some decline mentally, but nothing as threatening and dangerous as Trump has presented to anyone who has any sense of wanting normality in behavior and public statements.

Trump would be a danger to everyone, and yet his wife and children seem oblivious to his mental state, and Republican office holders just ignore his behavior, as if it is normal.

The nation cannot survive four years of this maniacal behavior, so it is clear JD Vance would have greater power and authority than any Vice President has ever had.

But Vance himself has demonstrated that he is a liar, a chameleon, a person who is in league with right wing tech tycoons, who do not wish well for the vast variety of Americans.

A technology run dictatorship, with Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, and others is a horrifying thought, and it is urgent that the message get out that, as Liz Cheney and many other Republicans and conservatives who are not presently office holders have made clear, that it is extremely necessary for people who may not agree with Democratic nominee Kamala Harris on every issue, to see her as the only alternative to save American democracy, the Constitution, and the rule of law!

It has been two months since Kamala Harris began her Presidential race, having a late start, and many critics saying she was not being specific on policy, and not agreeing to interviews.

The idea that a new campaign could please all critics overnight was preposterous, and meanwhile, Kamala Harris’s public opinion rating has improved by 16 points in two months, the most since George W. Bush after September 11, 2001!

Harris has been very busy and committed, and has come across as a charming, knowledgeable, intelligent, and very likeable woman, who is surging ahead in polls against Republican nominee Donald Trump, after being ridiculed and underrated by those who thought she should not be the Democratic nominee.

The fact that Harris stayed in the background as Vice President was misunderstood, as no Vice President would be so bold as to try to draw attention away from the President who they serve.

Harris was involved in all policy making and shares the successes of President Joe Biden, and now she has been interviewed on MSNBC by Stephanie Ruhle, a very impressive performance with precise details on her economic plans, and making clear how she is a great alternative to the flailing and incoherent Donald Trump.

Harris has hit a homerun, and anyone who avoids being prejudiced against her because she is a woman and of mixed race Black and Asian Indian ancestry, would have to accept that Harris has proved her mettle, and that she is well qualified for the Oval Office, and will save the nation from the Fascist demagoguery of Donald Trump!

Kamala Harris Has Moved Into Lead In Polls, Two Months After Entrance Into Presidential Campaign

Two months after Democrat Kamala Harris entered the Presidential race, and two weeks after the ABC Harris-Trump debate that Harris clearly won, finally she has moved into the lead in multiple polls.

Particularly among women, Harris has a commanding lead, creating what is for now at least a clear gender gap, as with men, Trump is slightly ahead or there is a even balance, depending on the poll.

Harris is also ahead among college educated voters and voters over the age of 50, while Trump is ahead among non college educated voters and voters under 50.

However, younger and first time voters (those under 30) have been inspired by Harris’s candidacy, in a way that they were not feeling toward Joe Biden.

Also, it is clear that Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz is inspirational, and helping Harris greatly in gaining public support.

And now we are nine days away from the CBS Vice Presidential debate on Tuesday October 1 between Walz and Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance, who is polling horribly, regarded as the worst VP nominee in modern times, even worse than Sarah Palin in 2008, which is quite a statement!

US Secret Service Reform Urgently Needed

The protection of top government officials and candidates is in crisis as the Presidential Election of 2024 comes upon us in 46 days.

The two threats against Donald Trump are a clear indication that the US Secret Service is in need of urgent reform, in funding, personnel, and technology.

This is a very scary and troubling time, as there are so many threats daily against both Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates of both political parties, as well as against President Joe Biden and his family members.

There are crazy and radicalized individuals who wish to be “famous”, actually infamous, by trying to harm government leaders.

The political atmosphere is one of stress and tension, and at an all time high, with the nation so divided, with a lot of the crisis caused, sadly, by Donald Trump and his constant divisive rhetoric, a situation that has existed for the past nine years.

Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe has just held a press conference in an attempt to calm public fears, and make clear of the mission of the Secret Service to provide total protection to those it is responsible to protect.

New agents are desperately needed, and such agents require a minimum of four years before they are ready to take on the responsibility of protecting the top leaders of the nation, and several hundred new agents are scheduled to be hired and trained during the next year.

JD Vance Is Outrageous In Rhetoric Against Kamala Harris!

Ohio Senator JD Vance, the Vice Presidential nominee with Donald Trump, has become a “clear and present danger” by his outrageous rhetoric, simply by asserting that Kamala Harris has not been threatened with her life, as Donald Trump has now been twice threatened by potential assassins. That is totally inappropriate to say by any candidate!

It is Trump and Vance who have been speaking and threatening bloodshed and violence, and unwillingness to accept election results, and it is the Republican Presidential team which is using incendiary language and promoting racism, misogyny and causing grief to Haitian immigrants and the city of Springfield, Ohio!

Considering that Trump and Vance have utilized confrontational language and attacked the news media for reporting their evil deeds, it is them that have provoked danger and hatred, not Kamala Harris, or Joe Biden, or Tim Walz! Their incendiary language provokes unstable people, and is a danger to public safety!

Trump has talked about a “dictatorship on Day One”, which requires a response.

JD Vance has spread rumors that have caused a crisis in Springfield, Ohio, and refused to stop spreading lies and fear, and he needs to be held accountable.

His mistreatment of Dana Bash of CNN last Sunday showed he is a dangerous demagogue, who must not be allowed to become a heartbeat away from the Presidency!

Donald Trump has given us a nightmare candidate in JD Vance, clearly the most dangerous and disgraceful nominee in modern history for the number two office, making Sarah Palin and Dan Quayle look far better!

Growing Danger Of More Assassination Threats Against Both Sides In Presidential Race!

America is in the throes of a major crisis of threats and reality of violence, mostly caused by the easy access and prevalence of weapons of war, AK 47’s and AR 15s.

Whether it is schools, churches, shopping malls, public events, or just any other public place, the level of serious gun violence is out of control.

And yet, any discussion of the need for regulations and reforms goes nowhere.

Meanwhile, the rhetoric of political violence has escalated, and all members of Congress, state governments, and the competing Presidential campaigns and candidates are under greater threats, only accentuated by now the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump in two months.

Sadly, a lot of the violence and threats has been encouraged by the incendiary rhetoric of Trump himself, and his running mate for Vice President, JD Vance. When they promote division and fiery rhetoric, including calling for “Dictatorship on Day One”, and talk about “bloodbath” and other such language, and incite people against a specific racial or religious group, as they have in recent weeks, the old saying is that they “reap what they sow”. But instead, right wing media fails to see the truth, and instead blames Democrats warning against such violence and incitement, for what is occurring.

Clearly, much more must be done to protect all Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates and their families, but the level of incendiary rhetoric MUST STOP now!
