Extremely Dangerous “Election Deniers” In Midterm Gubernatorial Elections

The Republican Party has more than half of its candidates for public office in Congress and the Governorships in November 2022 professing to be “Election Deniers”.

It is horrifying to imagine that many of these right wing extremists are likely to be elected.

But three candidates for governorships are particularly extreme in their defiance.

Doug Mastriano in Pennsylvania

Kari Lake in Arizona

Tudor Dixon in Michigan

Matriano’s opponent is state Attorney General Josh Shapiro.

Lake’s opponent is state Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.

Dixon’s opponent is Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

If all three of these extremists were elected, or even two of them, it would make it highly likely that the Presidential Election of 2024 would become a constitutional crisis, as they would work to refuse the possibility of the Democratic Presidential nominee to win the state’s electoral votes, in these three states, which are all crucial in future elections, as they have been in past elections.

Fascinating Senate Race In Utah: Evan McMullin Running As Independent Against Mike Lee, And Mitt Romney Remaining Neutral!

One of the most interesting and fascinating Senate races in 2022 is in heavily Mormon Utah, where Republican Senator Mike Lee, who has emerged as a MAGA Republican, despite being very critical of Donald Trump six years ago, faces a challenge NOT from a Democrat, but from an Independent Republican who ran for President in 2016 in protest against Donald Trump’s candidacy.

McMullin won 21.5 percent of the vote in 2016 in Utah, and half of one percent of the total national vote, close to 750,000 votes. And in 2020, he endorsed Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden. McMullin had been a CIA agent, and believed Trump was a danger to national security.

When McMullin decided to run against Mike Lee, the Democratic Party in Utah agreed to stay out of the race, and right now, the polls indicate a very close race, with Lee only ahead by 4 percent, and more than ten percent of the voters still undecided.

McMullin, a strong conservative with principle, and never a Trump loyalist, has pledged he will not join the caucus of either the Republicans or Democrats if he wins the seat.

And the controversy over this race is magnified by Utah Senator Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican Presidential nominee, refusing to take a stand and endorse his Senate colleague, Mike Lee. This is causing an uproar, but remember Romney voted to convict Trump in both impeachment trials, and has been condemned by Donald Trump.

This race of Lee vs McMullin will certainly be one of the most intriguing Senate races in November!

Reality: Donald Trump Wanted To Murder Mike Pence And Nancy Pelosi, Next In Line Of Succession!

It is time to stop excusing or dismissing the crimes of Donald Trump, most specifically on January 6, 2021!

Reality is that Donald Trump was ready to do ANYTHING to stop the official Electoral vote count that showed that Joe Biden had defeated Donald Trump!

So it is clear, without any shadow of a doubt, that Donald Trump wanted to murder Vice President Mike Pence and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, the two in line of Presidential succession!

Trump wanted to go to the Capitol, but the Secret Service prevented it, but it is clear that Trump had no scruples, ethics, morals, or conscience on that day, and really, throughout his Presdency, culminating in the plot to overthrow the US government, and install himself as a Fascist dictator!

The answer is to arrest and imprison Donald Trump, as anyone else who was engaged in such dastardly deeds would face that prosecution.

So it is up to Attorney General Merrick Garland to take that action, shortly after the Midterm Elections of 2022 have passed!

There is no alternative, even if Trump provokes violence and bloodshed, and in fact, if that ensues, then no possibility of avoiding pretrial detention, as a threat to the American Republic!

299 “Election Deniers” On Ballots, Running As Republicans, Creating A Crisis!

An amazing total of 299 Republicans on state and federal ballots for the Midterm Elections of 2022 are declared “Election Deniers”, still stating Joe Biden did not win the Presidency over Donald Trump in the Presidential Election of 2020.

This is out of a total of 569 Republicans running for office, or 53 percent of all Republicans! A total of 173 are running for safely Republican seats, and 52 are in competitive races. And Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan are particularly endangered on the matter of accepting election results.

This bodes evil coming, with Republicans creating a crisis of legitimacy, as certainly, many of these “Election Deniers” are certain to win, with the only question being how many, and in which states, that might have a deleterious effect on the counting of votes in the upcoming Presidential Election of 2024.

Some states, if they elect such “Election Deniers” as Governors and Secretaries of State, responisible for counting of votes, could create a nightmare two years from now!

And there could be a crisis in seating some US Senators and Congressmen for the 118th Congress that opens on January 3, 2023.

Donald Trump Suffers Stunning Series Of Legal Losses

Former President Donald Trump has suffered a series of legal losses this past week, including:

New York State Attorney General Letitia James is accusing him and his three older children (Donald Trump, Jr., Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump), of massive fraud, and is suing for a $250 million fine, wishing to deny the Trump family any ability to conduct business in New York State for the next five years, and giving evidence gathered to federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York.

A three judge Circuit Court panel, with two Trump appointees, is allowing the Justice Department to pursue action on classified documents taken by Trump to Mar A Lago, to judge whether national security has been endangered.

A Georgia prosecutor is moving toward action on the illegal interference promoted by Trump to try to change the Georgia Presidential election results in the 2020 Presidential election.

Additionally, the January 6 House Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 Insurrection at the US Capitol will be having another public hearing and presentation in the coming week.

The pressures being brought against Donald Trump, his children, and his business activities are all adding to the burden on the former President, easily the most corrupt in American history!

Unveiling Of Barack And Michelle Obama Portraits At Biden White House A Celebration!

In the midst of difficult and stressful times in America, yesterday was a glorious day of celebration as Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama returned to the White House to unveil their official portraits that will be added to the White House Art Collection, and rejoice with Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden!

The portraits of both the President, by artist Robert McCurdy, and the First Lady, by artist Sharon Sprung, are gorgeous art, and it was an opportunity for the Obamas and Bidens to get together and celebrate the accomplishments of both Obama and Joe Biden in the Presidency!

Usually, the portraits of a President are unveiled in the administration of his successor, but that was not possible with Donald Trump, who constantly savaged the Obamas, and promoted the theory that Obama was not born in the United States, the so called “Birther” theory!

One has to wonder if it will ever happen that there will be unveiling of portraits of Donald Trump and Melania Trump in the White House art collection, but if so, it will not be during the Joe Biden Presidency, as Trump still refuses to accept that Joe Biden was legitimately elected President in 2020!

Labor Day Should Remind Us Of Significance Of Labor Unions In American History!

Monday is Labor Day, a celebration of the contributions and sacrifices of generations of workers who struggled to honor the efforts of working people, who had to combat the power of corporations and commit themselves to reform and humane treatment.

The first national holiday came about in the Presidency of Grover Cleveland in 1894, just as we had the Pullman Strike, which led to the imprisonment of Socialist Eugene Debs, but led to the growing success of organized labor over the next decades.

The ultimate triumph of organized labor came in the New Deal of Franklin D. Roosevelt, and while much of the nation, particularly the Southern states, worked against unionization, there was expansion of labor union membership nationally.

Sadly, the Presidency of Ronald Reagan saw labor union growth come to a halt, and has only recently started to increase once again.

But membership in labor unions is only in the midteens in number right now, when it once was about a third to 40 percent.

President Joe Biden, however, is a champion of organized labor, and will speak on Labor Day tomorrow in Pittsburgh, to commemorate labor, and call for the further expansion of unions for workers!

In the Presidential Election of 2020, Biden gained the backing of 56 percent of union households, crucial to his victories in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania in particular!

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer: Heroine, And Way Ahead Of Extremist Opponent Tudor Dixon In Polls!

Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer is up for reelection this fall, against a “MAGA” Republican extremist, Tudor Dixon.

This lunatic woman is scary, as she has no exceptions for rape or incest or life of the mother regarding abortion.

Being an Election Denier on the Presidential Election of 2020 makes her extremely dangerous, were she to be elected!

Fortunately, Whitmer is way ahead of Dixon in public opinion polls!

Whitmer is a true heroine, standing up to the responsibility of protecting Michigan residents from COVID 19, and being subjected to a threatened hostage seizure and possible assassination danger.

Two of those perpetrators of a kidnap plot have been convicted and will have long prison sentences.

Gretchen Whitmer will be seen in history as a woman of courage, principles, and doing the necessary job of protecting her constituents, even if they are not smart enough to understand science and health!

If she wins reelection, she is a potential choice for President, and will have many intelligent, ethical, moral people who would support her.

In any case, let us all wish for her health and safety, and that she can succeed in putting Tudor Dixon into the trash heap of history!

At Least 11 “Election Deniers” Running For Crucial Secretary Of State Position In States!

It is shocking to realize that there are at least ELEVEN “Election Deniers” running as Republicans for the crucial Secretary of State position in various states.

The Secretary of State in states has control of the election machinery, and can influence the issue of the Electoral Vote Count for President in 2024!

These eleven Election Deniers have questioned, rejected, or tried to overturn the results of the Presidential Election of 2020, and have not ever accepted that the issue is dormant at this point nearly two years later!

“Swing” states Arizona, Michigan and Nevada are threatened if the Republican candidates win the office.

Alabama, Indiana and Wyoming, strongly Republican states, have the likelihood of their “Election Deniers” winning office.

Five “liberal” states—Minnesota, Connecticut, New Mexico, Vermont, and Massachusetts—have less likelihood of their “Election Deniers” being elected.

This is an alarming situation, that undermines American democracy, the Constitution, and rule of law!

Looney Republican Women Running For Governor: Kari Lake And Tudor Dixon

The Republican Party has had looney women run for Congress and become an embarrassment, including, most recently, Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boerbert of Colorado. But they have done little harm, other than to cause outrage, as they are a small element in the House of Representatives, who just make a lot of noise!

But now, we have looney women nominated for the Governorship of two states that were influential in the Presidential Election of 2020!

Arizona has Kari Lake as its nominee for Governor, and Michigan has Tudor Dixon as its nominee for Governor, and both are believers in the “Big Lie” that Donald Trump won the Presidential Election of 2020, and are unwilling to acknowledge that Joe Biden is the rightful winner of the Presidency.

Both Lake and Dixon make it clear they will do everything possible to deny the Democrats the electoral votes of their states in 2024, even if the Democratic Presidential nominee wins the popular votes in their states.

So both Lake and Dixon are deniers of reality, and are a threat to democracy’s continuation in their states!

Interestingly, both states will have a Democratic woman running against these looney Republican women.

Arizona will have Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, who insured despite threats, that Arizona had legitimately voted for Joe Biden in 2020, and is now the Democratic nominee for the Governorship.

And Michigan has the very courageous Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who was threatened by extremists in the state in the past few years, but stood tall and principled, and is running for a second term as Governor.

It is urgent that Arizona and Michigan elect these two competent, decent women over the lunatic and dangerous women that the Republican Party has foisted on the people of these states!
