The new Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, has submitted a public report that proves Donald Trump was a Russian agent, and has been connected with the Russian government efforts to undermine American national security since the 1980s.
The report also shows that Vladimir Putin not only engaged in interference with the 2016 Presidential election, but also tried, but failed, to influence the 2020 Presidential election, and undermine Joe Biden’s campaign.
And Joe Biden has now said, since he knows Vladimir Putin from the Obama years and earlier, that he had, years ago, told Putin in person that he thought Putin did not have a soul, and Putin had said that they therefore understood each other.
This Biden comment to Putin came after George W. Bush had stated his belief that Putin DID have a soul, and it shows that Republicans, including Bush in his naivete, and Trump in his evil power grabbing efforts, had misjudged and been fooled by the Russian government.
The same cannot be said about Barack Obama in his Presidential years, and clearly, we now have a President in Joe Biden, who will know much better how to deal with the Russian leader and government.
And America will be safer for that, and anyone who thinks the Republican Party is “better” on foreign policy and national security needs to rethink their assumptions!
