Donald Trump First Indicted President, And More Is To Come!

Former President Donald Trump has been indicted in the “Stormy Daniels” case in New York City.

He is the first President to face indictment, and there will be more indictments, including likely in Georgia over interference with the vote count in the Presidential Election of 2020; in the case of the government documents at his home in Mar A Lago in Florida; and the US Capitol Insurrection of January 6, 2021.

Trump was twice impeached, and had a bipartisan vote in the US Senate on that, the first time that has ever occurred.

Trump can still be prevented from running for the Presidency, if only the 14th Amendment, Section 3, is invoked, as it was for Confederate traitors in the Reconstruction Era!

It is time for Republicans to save whatever limited dignity they have, and stop backing this criminal former President!

Sadly, it is now clear that the Republicans are willing to go down with Trump!

MAGA House Republicans Visit Criminal Insurrectionists In DC Jail!

The MAGA House Republicans, who are beyond the pale in their behavior, visited criminal Insurrectionists who were engaged in the January 6, 2021 US Capitol attack a couple of days ago.

Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, and about 20 others, claimed these insurrectionists were “political prisoners”, and complained about their jail conditions.

But two Democrats who went with the Republicans to monitor the situation–Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett of Texas and Congressman Robert Garcia of California–made clear that the conditions of the DC jail are far superior to the general jail and prison conditions in most American states, and particularly in southern states.

These same MAGA Republicans also are pressuring, illegally, that Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg testify about the “Stormy Daniels” case against Donald Trump, which seems likely to lead to an indictment.

This is totally illegal, for Congress to intervene in local investigations and prosecutions.

The fact that MAGA Republicans are still willing to back Donald Trump no matter what the circumstances is a development that is very worrisome.

And the fact that Donald Trump is still seen as the favorite for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2024, even over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, is horrifying and a sign that American democracy is under dire threat!

Donald Trump Creates New Threat With Call For Protests When And If He Is Arrested!

The nightmare of Donald Trump continues, as this weekend, he predicted he will be arrested on Tuesday, March 21, by the NY District Attorney in the “Stormy Daniels” case, one of many cases pending against Trump.

In comparative terms, this case of paying Stormy Daniels $130,000 through his former attorney, Michael Cohen, seems minor, compared to the Georgia case, the January 6 Insurrection case, and the Mar A Lago retention of government documents cases.

What Trump is doing is encouraging his supporters to rise up when the predicted arrest occurs, and this creates a situation that could lead to the kind of bloodshed and violence that occurred on January 6, 2021, at the US Capitol.

Certainly, those supportive of Trump, as well as those opposed to Trump, have the right of protest as a constitutionally guaranteed right, under the First Amendment, but not to the utilization of bloodshed and violence.

And it creates the issue whether such an arrest might actually increase the odds of Trump winning the Republican Presidential nomination in 2024, and even possibly winning the election, a horrifying and dangerous scenario!

Donald Trump Likely Soon To Be Indicted In Three Jurisdictions!

It now seems clear that former President Donald Trump will soon be indicted in Georgia for interfering in the vote count in that state in the Presidential Election of 2020.

It also seems clear that in New York, the case against Trump on the payments to “Stormy Daniels” to cover up the affair Trump had with her, but which he wished to hide due to his Presidential campaign, is also coming to a head very soon.

And the federal case against Trump for the January 6 Insurrection and the hiding of government documents at Mar A Lago also is on its way to another indictment.

These indictments will come in the midst of the Presidential campaign of 2024, and should derail Trump from being able to run.

If only the 14th Amendment, Section 3, designed originally to deal with the rebellion of the Confederate States of America, were to be utilized, Donald Trump would be unable to run for President, even without any indictments or trials.

But sadly, the likelihood of such action by a divided Congress, with so many Republicans kowtowing to Donald Trump, prevents such action, so the threat of Donald Trump is very real and dangerous to national security, as he is the leader of domestic terrorist forces!
