America is in the midst of a national crisis of horrendous state governors who are abusing power and pursuing corrupt, illegal ends!

The ones that stand out the most are:

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis
Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott
Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp
New York Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo

However, the list of abusive state governors is much longer, including:

So we have 13 Republican Governors From the South and the West, who are, in different degrees, outrageously terrible as state governors, while only Andrew Cuomo is a Democrat who needs to be held accountable for his abuses of power!

Mississippi Takes Major Step Forward In Abandoning Confederate Flag

Miracle of miracles, imagine that Mississippi, the most recalcitrant Southern state, has finally moved to come into the 21st century, and abandon their Confederate flag, adopted in 1894.

This was a move by the Republican House Speaker and the Democratic Minority Leader (who is African American), and seeing the overwhelming three fourths vote in the state legislature, and the two men standing together in cooperation, to talk to journalists about what had been done, is so heartwarming!

And the Republican Governor, Tate Reeves, has made it clear that he will sign the legislation, and that a new flag will be developed to replace this disgraceful reminder of white supremacy, racism, and the lost cause of the Confederate States of America in the Civil War, nearly 160 years ago!

This has been a rare moment to be thrilled by, especially when we have a Confederate loving white supremacist and racist in the White House, but not for long will Donald Trump be there!

There are heroes out there among both Democratic and Republican Governors, who have taken the lead in their states to protect their populations.

They have shown the kind of leadership that our President is incapable of.

and Democratic Governors

Phil Murphy of New Jersey

Laura Kelly of Kansas

There are others, but these are the most notable and outspoken in defending their citizenry.

At the same time, we have Governors elsewhere, particularly in Republican governed Southern States who refuse, in some cases vehemently, to take any direct action, believing God will solve the issue, while ignoring health and science experts.

This includes Mississippi (Tate Reeves) , Alabama (Kay Ivey) , South Carolina (Henry McMaster) , Texas (Greg Abbot), Georgia (Brian Kemp) and Florida Ron DeSantis), among others.

They will be held accountable for mass loss of life, as much as Donald Trump will be for his delayed response, and unwillingness to accept science, at least until this past weekend, when so much damage has already occurred!
