The Power Behind The Throne, Undermining Rationality Of Trump: Michael Flynn, Stephen Bannon, Stephen Miller, And Jared Kushner

Donald Trump’s White House advisors are the powers behind the throne, and are a major threat to any sense of stability in domestic and foreign policy, and undermining the rationality of Donald Trump, or whatever of that exists.

And we are just about two weeks into this Presidency, and this is already clear.

Michael Flynn is the unhinged National Security Advisor, while Stephen Bannon is Trump’s Chief Strategist and White House Advisor and Senior Counselor, and Stephen Miller is a key aide to Bannon–all three of them connected to white supremacists and neo Nazi groups, and involved in the decision on the Muslim ban last week, and the Yemen raid, which led to the death of a Navy Seal and killing of many civilians, including children.

And it is clear that Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump’s husband, also part of the White House group, is no genius either, far from it, and really an arrogant, overrated person because he is Trump’s son in law.

This group of characters may play a more important role than Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense James Mattis, and Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly, and that is disastrous on its face.

These people are unaccountable to Congress, and they are a sign that Trump will have a disastrous, corrupt administration, and shorten the term of Trump in the Presidency.

Being Black, Latino, Muslim, Jewish, Gay, Or Female In Trump America

Since the election, there has been many reports of attacks and hate inspired reactions against African Americans, Latinos, Muslims, Jews, Gays and Lesbians, and women, all in the name of representing Donald Trump’s America.

All of these groups of Americans are now living in a state of fear, a situation which is tragic and should not exist.

White Supremacists and Misogynists are encouraged by the appointment of Stephen Bannon as a key adviser to President Elect Trump, despite his past statements and actions, and his connection to the extreme Right wing Breitbart Network, and the Alt Right, which promotes antisemism, white supremacy, racism. nativism, Islamophobia, homophobia, and conspiracy theories.

Imagine the harassment and bullying going on in schools and colleges.

Imagine the danger of people of these groups being approached on public streets in an intimidating way.

Imagine the sense of insecurity for Latinos, particularly those who are undocumented, that they could be arrested and deported without any recourse, disrupting lives of people who just want to have a chance to improve their lives.

Donald Trump has made one statement on the reaction against these groups going on in America, a statement on Sixty Minutes on CBS, but it is not enough to make such a statement, and then pick a hateful extremist such as Bannon, and to be considering other hate mongers and nasty, mean spirited people, who are bullies much like Trump.

The strong support of the Latino community across America, including all groups, even Cuban Americans in large numbers, who will react to the racism and nativism of Donald Trump.

The strong support of women across America, who refuse to accept the misogyny and sexual aggressiveness of Donald Trump.

The strong support of African Americans, who can see Donald Trump’s racism for what it is, disgraceful.

The strong support of college educated people, who do not wish to put an ignoramus in office, who appeals to bigotry and prejudice.

The strong support of Independents who are horrified by the authoritarian tendencies of Donald Trump.

The strong support of Asian Americans, a growing group, who are alarmed by white supremacists who back Donald Trump, and fully remember what happened to Japanese Americans in World War II.

The strong support of those who believe in labor rights, the environment, civil liberties, and preserving the virtues of the New Deal and Great Society.

The strong support of those who wish to preserve the great gains of the Obama Presidency, and promote his legacy.

The strong support of Millennials, who are oriented in great percentages toward progressive goals.

The strong support of principled conservatives and Republicans who are terrified at the thought of a demagogue named Donald Trump doing great harm to American democracy.

Donald Trump is, without question, the most dangerous major party Presidential nominee in American history–ill informed, terrible judgment, bad temperament, a believer in conspiracy theories, crooked and corrupt, immoral and unethical, reckless and authoritarian, who represents the worst elements in American society!

We are living in dangerous times, and the most scary scenario is being at a Donald Trump rally.

We have white supremacists there.

We have Neo Nazis and Ku Klux Klan types there.

We have “Birthers” and conspiracy theorists there.

We have misogynists, racists, Islamophobes, nativists, homophobes, and xenophobes there.

We have women who could be imagined as Nazi concentration camp guards torturing people.

We have what could best be described as the most ignorant of the ignorant, who drink too much, use drugs too much, and think women are to be controlled by men.

We have people who want the “good old days” of segregation, lynching, and even slavery.

We have people who hate anyone who speaks a foreign language, or who is darker skinned than they are, and believe in an Aryan race mentality.

We have people who claim to be “good Christians”, but have no concepts of the true teachings of Jesus Christ, and are also anti-semites, who do not realize Jesus was a Jew.

We have people poorly educated, and reveling in that fact, and love their own ignorance.

We have people who would, willingly, in 21st century America, salute and obey an Adolf Hitler or Benito Mussolini.

The mental instability and hatreds of Trump crowds are stunning, shocking, and terrifying!

What has happened to our nation that we love, that we have such warped people within it, who have no interest in facts or truth?

Presidential debates have occurred since 1976, and also, originally took place in 1960, but no debate has mattered as much as the one coming up on Monday between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

No more significant debate has occurred since Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas had model debates for the Senate race in Illinois in 1858.

Hillary Clinton is super qualified to be President, while Donald Trump is totally unqualified, and were he to win, American democracy and constitutional order would be endangered.

Donald Trump is a Fascist demagogue, who has no credentials, and has the diplomatic, military, intelligence, and economic experts up in arms over the threat he presents.

Much of the Republican Establishment, including the two living former Republican Presidents, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, and much of the conservative media and intellectual class, are deplored by his candidacy.

Trump has insulted, degraded, ridiculed, belittled, and shown a lack of respect toward women, African Americans, Mexicans, Muslims, and the disabled, and has worked to divide Americans, and gained the backing of racists, nativists, misogynists, xenophobes, and all kinds of white supremacists who also are anti semites.

He has praised dictators, including Kim Jong Un of North Korea and Vladimir Putin of Russia, and talks loosely about using the nuclear button.

The man is a clear and present danger who must be prevented from winning the Presidency, and we must all root on Hillary Clinton to score a win over this demagogue on Monday night!

More Racial Incidents Involving Police, And More “Lone Wolf” Terrorist Incidents Building Support For Donald Trump, A Clear And Present Danger!

The more that one thinks about the trend that is developing—-more racial incidents involving police shooting and killing African American men at traffic stops and in other situations—and the growing number of “lone wolf” terrorist incidents, involving young men of Muslim faith—-the more, sadly, a growing sense of fair and paranoia is turning white Americans against both African Americans, and Muslim Americans. This is fueling the rise of Donald Trump in the polls, as people somehow see Trump as the “solution” to their trepidation that the streets are not safe.

And this even includes Hispanic and Latino Americans and the issue of illegal or undocumented immigration also making many feel we need a “strong man” who can, magically, resolve all issues in a short time, which is, of course, totally preposterous and ridiculous!

Yes, we have troubles in this nation, but there is no magic wand, no magic potion, that will solve these issues.

It is terrifying to witness how many people seem to think that a character like Donald Trump, who is a reality star, can be looked upon as able to be their savior for their fears, when, if he were elected, we would be giving a mentally unstable and dangerous man the power which could undermine American democracy and constitutional order.

America is in a crisis that can now be seen as the greatest since the Watergate Scandal under Richard Nixon, when we brought a lawless President to resign. We are about to consider electing a man who will embolden White Supremacist groups, including Neo Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan!

And yet, now, we are ready to give a man much more dangerous than Richard Nixon, and far less qualified than he was, the power of the Presidency.

This is a time for prayer and common sense before we go into the abyss that will cause all kinds of grief and damage long term, if we, as a nation, do not come to our senses over the next seven weeks!

Possible Scenarios Whereby Donald Trump “Could” Be Elected President On November 8!

It seems clear that Donald Trump has very little chance to be elected President on November 8, 2016.

However, there are possible scenarios whereby the “impossible” could occur, god forbid.

What are they?

1. America experiences a horrific terrorist attack similar to September 11, and the population panics and votes for Trump, as if he has a magic potion to stop terrorism. However, after September 11, there was unity around George W. Bush, so hard to judge the reaction of the American people.

2. Hillary Clinton suddenly is burdened further by release of emails from her private server in a manner that makes her looks horribly scandalous and corrupt to such an extent that it changes public opinion and polls dramatically in a short time.

3. Hillary Clinton suffers a serious health crisis, rumored but not true, but if it happened, it could harm her campaign.

4. The Trump supporters turn out to be mostly hidden, unwilling to indicate they would vote for him, and suddenly we become aware that millions of more people are Trump supporters on Election Day, something highly unlikely but conceivable.

5. Hillary Clinton supporters, so confident that she cannot lose, choose not to vote, to stay home, and therefore her vote totals are much less than thought to be likely.

6. A massive economic collapse, such as in September 2008, occurs, and causes harm to the image of Barack Obama, and indirectly, his party’s nominee, Hillary Clinton.

7. Massive voter fraud occurs, and blockage of people attempting to vote happens, by intimidation and threats in Democratic strongholds, with Trump groups of white supremacists appear at polling stations, and are not stopped by local police. We know that voter fraud is usually rare, but has happened more in Republican won elections than Democratic won elections over a long period of time, and Republican Secretaries of State in many states have done everything possible to block voting by minorities and the poor, and even though federal courts have intervened to stop this, there still is the possibility of trouble ahead that could harm the Hillary Clinton political campaign.

Trump “Pivot”: Appealing For African American And Hispanic Votes, While Not Repudiating Racist Supporters. This Is A Pivot?

Donald Trump is suddenly trying to convince people of decency that he is not a bigot, a racist, a nativist, by appealing to African American and Hispanic voters, after 14 months running for President advocating bigotry, racism, and nativism, and NOT repudiating the support of racists, including David Duke and other white supremacist individuals and groups.

Trump is a total phony, who finally realizes he is losing the election in a massive way, and is trying to change the result, without any real commitment to doing anything that would benefit either African Americans or Hispanics.

Trump is suddenly telling us that if he was President, in four years he would win 95 percent of the African American vote, when right now he might win ONE percent of their vote.

And suddenly, he is saying that the issue of the “deportation force” for eleven million illegal, undocumented immigrants was “to be determined”, when he has advocated a harsh deportation and the building of a wall for 2,000 miles across the Mexican border.

Does any intelligent person really believe that Donald Trump gives a damn for any minority person, other than gaining his or her vote?

This so called “pivot” is a joke, not to be taken seriously by anyone!

Has Trump gone before any African American or Hispanic group or audience? The answer is NO, and it is odd that he would talk about a change before an overwhelmingly white audience which supports him, and could not care less about what happens to any minority group of Americans, as they endorse his bigotry, racism, and nativism.

When Trump formally repudiates hate groups in an open way, which will not happen, then we might start to consider his sincerity, his “pivot”, but even then, his record on race and ethnicity, even in his business dealings before becoming a Presidential candidate, makes it clear he is not to be trusted or believed one iota!

Hillary Clinton Formally Nominated As First Woman Presidential Candidate By Bill Clinton, Who Knows Her Best!

Hillary Clinton was formally nominated last night by the Democratic National Convention in an emotional and historic gathering in Philadelphia, and then was celebrated by her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

Bill Clinton avoided policy discussion, his specialty, and also avoided naming his wife’s opponent, Donald Trump, by name. But he came to a strong defense of his wife, and despite his own record of cheating, highly reprehensible, it is clear that he truly loves his wife. He gave us personal anecdotes about her, and made her real persona come through, including her being a mother devoted to daughter Chelsea. It was made clear that her goal was to do good, not aim to get rich as her only goal in life. Bill Clinton made the case for his wife in a way that no one else could.

But he also gave us an understanding of the Hillary Clinton we have never seen or understood, as a woman who has devoted her life to public service and to concern about the poor, the disabled, the disadvantaged, and particularly to women and children. We also saw ordinary citizens speaking at the convention, who have been involved in situations in which Hillary Clinton intervened and showed her concern and empathy, and not just for a moment or two, but long term, demonstrating how sincere and engaged she really has been over the past four decades of dedication to public service.

There has been a lot of bad mouthing and nasty hearsay and rumors spread around about Hillary Clinton, most of it false, unfounded, and vicious.

Hillary Clinton has been more vilified, condemned, and mistreated by her enemies and much of the news media than anyone in public life, and over a longer period of time than any other public figure, but she has always stood strong and persevered in the midst of attack.

She is a strong, principled woman, who despite recent doubts about her ability to win, will become the 45th President of the United States on January 20, 2017.

She comes to the Presidential race as among the best qualified ever to be nominated for the nation’s highest office.

Is she perfect? Of course not, but then there has never been a perfect person to run for or serve in the Presidency.

But we know that the alternative is the worst nominee ever chosen by the Republican Party in its long history, including Barry Goldwater 52 years ago, who if he was here, would not have supported a person clearly a racist, a nativist, a xenophobe, a misogynist, a person who consorts with anti semitic demagogues and white supremacists like David Duke, a bully, a braggart, a narcissist, a person who loves to insult everyone, and has no moral or ethical base–Donald Trump!

What Is It About Donald Trump That No Matter What He Says Or Does, It Seems Not To Affect His Supporters?

Donald Trump seems able to say or do anything, and somehow, it does not affect his supporters and undermine his candidacy!

He insults John McCain for being a Prisoner of War, an insult to the Arizona Senator and to veterans, and yet he survives criticism.

He ridicules a disabled journalist, an insult to disabled citizens, and yet he survives criticism.

He attacks women on their looks or intelligence, including Megyn Kelly, Carly Fiorina and others, and yet his misogyny does not seem to hurt him.

He attacks Mexicans in a derogatory manner, and talks of building a wall that will never happen, and yet he survives criticism.

He promotes the banning of anyone of Islamic faith from entering America, against our constitutional principles, and yet he survives criticism.

He does not reject David Duke and other white supremacists, and claims not to know about them, and yet he survives criticism.

He has followers who promote antisemitism, including David Duke but also others, and even has an Orthodox Jewish son in law, and he does not condemn such hatred, and yet he survives criticism.

He insults all of his political opponents, gives them all kinds of names, and makes up stories about them and their families, and yet he survives criticism.

He encourages harsh criticism of the news media, and promotes violence at his rallies, and yet he survives criticism.

He attacks Bill Clinton’s sexual exploits and blames Hillary Clinton for it, and he has scandalous sex scandals in his own background, and yet he survives criticism.

Donald Trump is, seemingly, not held accountable for his lack of specifics on any issue, and his reckless statements about domestic and foreign policy make him dangerous, and yet he survives criticism.

This is a man who is clearly a nativist, a racist, a misogynist, courts antisemites, is scaring our allies around the world, and has created a mob psychology similar to Mussolini and Hitler.

One has to wonder whether we are on the way to choosing an authoritarian figure who will destroy the Constitution and the traditions of this country, and maybe, just maybe, most of the American people will not give a damn!
